I had been searching for a Sirius receiver that matched not only the dark gray and silver of the interior, but one that has a red display. The Jensen Jampack matches perfectly. Also, with the limited dash space available to mount a receiver, I ended up using the front of the center console, which worked out really well. Pictures are attached; I'll get the unit hardwired and the interior cleaned as soon as it quits snowing, which means sometime in February! Pics are attached.

Mods: 04 center armrest, 04 Matrix AM/FM/CD/Cassette, Electrochromatic rear view mirror w/compass, GM hood protector, Ventvisors on doors and moonroof, one-touch close moonroof. added 12v outlet in console, Goodyear TripleTred tires, Sirius satellite radio.
The holder is a two-piece deal. I took off the outside ring, and used the two mounting screw holes to screw it to the console, through the "carpet" on the bottom of the compartment. That way, if I ever sell the car, the screw holes in the console will be concealed. If you do decide to do this, just use the two holes toward the back of the car. You need a little bit of "give" to be able to remove the receiver.

(only jabbing, this coming from another Sirius-subscriber)That Jensen is one of the older generation Sirius tuners, and I'll admit, they're a little big, but looks good nonetheless, plus matches the Vibe's color scheme perfectly. The only other model (smaller) that has a red display I believe is the Sirius Starmate.Otherwise, the current XM and Sirius tuners are both equal in size anymore.
Except the Roady XT is even THINNER than the starmate! And the display is STILL better!Though the Sirius portable unit looks yards better than the MiFi's..

Personally, new05vibeowner, I like it. It's about the size of my Sportster from what it looks like. Actually, I believe that IS my Sportster underneath, the display is a red version of mine, the knob and buttons are in the same place, etc. If not the same, pretty darn close. To that, I say, that is a nice, solid tuner! I've tried to like the smaller tuners from both sides, but I have to admit for automotive use, I need something with substance which is one great reason I greatly appreciate the Sportster and the like. It just makes it easier to deal with all around, at least I am inclined to belive so. I couldn't hit the little toggle thingy the Starmate had in place of the knob without moving the whole tuner about when I was checking them out in the store. Blah. Sure, it may have been a cute, tiny lil' thang, but just not my style...

I actually own the Delphi Roady XT for XM, and you have a choice of 7 color display...including black characters with a red background. The red color is exactly the same, because both radios are from Delphi. It's really nice to have a look on radios by noon.

I have a Starmate, it is a perfect match to the vibe's colors. It does look a little bit reddish in the picture, but in real life it's a great orange. It fits perfectly in the tray in front of the shifter (thanks CP and Kari for the photos of your satellite installs!). I can even still manage to squeeze my hand into the shifter compartment....

Thanks for the comments. Now I need to get the adapter so that I can bypass the crappy FM modulator. Am I looking for a 9 pin or 12 pin adapter? Also, any suggestions on where to buy one?
