Door Closing Resistance

Hi ya'll,It may be all in my head, but it seems that the doors of my wife's 2009 Vibe GT close with more resistance than the doors on my 2009 Vibe GT. I like the way her doors close better. Is there a way to increase closing resistance? Thanks.

Re: HID - Problems, problems, problems (keithvibe)

Yeah that's pretty much exactly what they looked like.Unfortunately no, I didn't take pictures with them on/off.When my new bulbs arrive (hopefully by Monday) I will be sure to take pictures. Thanks Keith, really appreciate your help.As for now, I guess it's driving with 1 light and 2 fog lights. (A...

Re: HID - Problems, problems, problems (keithvibe)

The shields are supposed to stay!? Really? With them on, the beams produced were awful. Without them, they shoot evenly...Edit: It would be lovely to swap with my neighbor, he's proposed that too. Unfortunately, the Vibe uses H4 and his use H7.

Aha!It hadn't even occurred to me that it could be the ground.Keith, I must say - you know your stuff. Every time I post a problem, I get tempted to come out there and have you help me with all my HID problems. When my bulbs come, I will need to take a picture as I'm unsure about those too. They cam...

HID - Problems, problems, problems

Hi all,Some of you may remember me posting several questions about HIDs. I finally got everything installed and working properly until today. They have been in for less than 2 weeks. Everything was operational (except for having two different bulb color temperatures, which is being replaced by the s...

Re: (zionzr2)

Hi. Sorry I wasn't more descriptive. I have an 04 Vibe. The problem isn't doing the mod, I have all my instructions - it's just gaining access to where the module is. I see if I'm on my back above the gas and brake pedals that I can see pretty much everything but can't get in there to do any work. I...

I know that this needs to be plugged into the harness, so if the relay (I have two, both with only one of these three prong plugs), then just plug it into the opening nearest the battery, and unplug the old one? Last question: What should I do with the old one? Thanks so much!Ben

So today, with some great weather, I decided to go and install the HID kit I bought a month or two ago.Of course, as with all things, I ran into some problems. DRL as Fogs?

Hi everyone,I am interested in knowing if anyone has any idea (or even better, if anyone has done) how to disable the DRLs for the headlamps, but keep the DRLs hooked up to the fog lights. Basically, what I would like to do is disable the drl connection to the headlamps, hook it up to the fog lights...

I'm not a huge fan of the DRLs to begin with. Re: (lowincash)

I feared that in the back of mind. I'm looking into buying a new headlight, or used one. Just as long as it doesn't already have the haze on it or the moisture, I may go spend $100 to protect the investment, although I don't really see them all that cheap.
