The Dorman shields work. I'm not sure why Dorman doesn't list them as compatible with the Vibe though.

Good evening! The front brake dust/splash shields have rusted out on my 2005 FWD Vibe (base model). GM has discontinued them (part numbers 88970125 and 88970126). I have not seen any aftermarket units either. Are these really unavailable? Does anyone know of any other sources other than a junk yard?

I know that this is an old message, but mine broke just yesterday. Looking at a Vibe manual, it appears the mount for the fuel tank protector that broke is mounted to the fuel strap. The rust protection of this vehicle, I must say, is unimpressive.I now must try to locate one of these parts.

I must admit ... I'm curious, what happened to the original engine? 78,000 miles isn't all that long.
