My Dealer (Haggerty Pontiac Oak Lawn IL.) told me they dont see the discoloration so they cant justify the replacement to GM!

They are installing a new Shifter Compartment door that keeps flopping open and the trim around the electric windows/locks that had a gouge in it when I got the car. I will let you know how it goes on my next visit...

This is the FIRST thing that I brought to the dealer that mostly fixed.I say mostly because now I have to make sure I push it tightly into pace or it falls open. GM Service SUX. I shudda gotta Matrix

I have a Viper Alarm with remote start. I know it wont stop the pros, but I got a slightly reduced insurance bill, and a warm car in winter.It was $450 installed (Circuit City)

I took mine in and also got the runaround. they said THEY didnt think the cladding is discolored. I got the bums rush and the parting shot was "well you have plenty of time left before your warranty runs out!

It is a highflow muffler by IMCO. The Muffler inlet/outlet and pipe diam. was increased. I did it to give me that Euro Grrrowwll. It may have increased HP a teeeneee bit. I have only had it for a few hours, I will let you know.

The pipe appeared to be. I don't think the muffler is but it bears a toyota stamp.

Also remember that only a small pecentage of the oil is passing through the filter (I think it's 10%) so even if the filter is PLUGGED you still get oil circulation. So there is no excuse for a cheap filter.

I tried at the dealer and they told me ther was no listing for it! I was hoping if you still have your invoice I could get the Part number. I find the dealers seem as though they are doing you a favor when you try to get parts.

I replaced mine with Kenwood KFC-1689ie speakers these are 6 1/2" 3ways I think they soud GREAT but you know speakers are tough 'cause everyone has different "ears". I plan to add the Bazooka sub designed to fit in the back.

I think there was some talk of this problem before. It was an issue with a switch. People reported coming out of their house in the morning and their interior would be on and in some cases to a dead battery. They were fixed by the dealer.

I am thinking about getting one in hopes it will help cut down on the small stones that are chipping the liv'n S#!T out of the Micro thin paint that they use on the Vibe. My 10 year old Camry Wagon has far less stone damage I hope if you have one you also have pictures

LOL I guess I should have tried that first. It may have taken more time to take the photos and post them than it would have taken to fix it! I will mess with it on my next day off. Thanks for the suggestion.
