Re: Possible lemon..... (yank dini)

Actually, that is not correct. Michigan Lemon Law states it has to be 4 times for the same problem or 30 days in the first year. The 3 comes into play since you are required to give the automaker a "final chance" to repair the vehicle, thus you inform them that number 4 is their final chan...

Re: Possible lemon..... (m4VibeGT)

I see lemon law and I have to chime in (see "engine stalls"). I sold my vibe back to GM a month or so ago. Don't be fooled, GM will not just offer to buy it back. They will continue to have you return the car to service time and time again. You will have to get a lawyer involved, then they...

As an ex-vibe owner, I have to agree with NSimkins. GM will do nothing when you file a case with customer service. Customer service actually serves the dealerships more than GM itself. None of the info you send in ever goes anywhere except for getting filed in a huge data bank never to be accessed. ...

As for the offer, they are paying off the car. Sort of. I am still having to pay a little, but I am out of it.As for considering another vibe. No, I won't be considering them. There are too many instances of this happening with the Matrix XRS and Toyota doesn't know how to fix it either.

If you really want something fun to drive. Stay away from anything with an auto tranny. The slush box significantly decreases the fun factor IMHO. Although, I don't disagree in the choice of a Honda. It is going to be much more reliable vehicle than the Vibe.
