I have some extra cash coming to me at the end of February and NEED to replace all the stock speakers in the 03 Vibe. Any "cost-wise" suggestions? Looking to get a sub as well. Nothing booming, but good enough to enjoy. My speakers have been running about 50% for 2 years now and I haven't ...
Hey Guys, haven't posted in a while but I hope everyone had a good holidays. Anyways I looking for a set rims or a company that makes them that will match the colour of my vibe. Either graphite with a envy/sublime highlight in the middle or the spoke or all the spokes to match the body.Envy
yeah keith that looks amazing!!! It's all about turning heads, too many people have the factory colours. I appreciate your gusto, good on you.As for the discussion of whether it is photoshop or not, that weird tint to the trees its called fall.
Anyone have both reverse bulbs go out at the same time, pull them out only to see that they are both not blown?Where did you get your replacement bulbs? dealer?
Alright here's some before and after pics of Grasshopper! Old Gap and new gap.let me know what you all think! Sorry I haven't figure out on here how to post pics other than in the attachment form. So bear with me.
Sorry guys, I'll have to be out then because we're going to Montreal for my buddy's birthday and we're renting a car. Plus we will already be in Montreal at that point. And come to think of it, I have wedding to go to on the 20th.This SUCKS! I wanted to be there, put some faces to the names. Check o...
yeah that's what I though Sublime, they are trying to screw me around. That's why I'm glad i found a mechanic of my own that I can trust and doesn't do it for the money but for the love. The dealership said they could work something out for me! Thanks for being so generous, I always figured "you...
Little bit of a teaser post, but I promise i will have pics up soon(maybe even today). Rear bumpstops weren't trimmed, I asked my mechanic and he said it shouldn't too much of an issue. Unfortunately the rear has somewhat, only noticeable to the critical eye, started to "toe in" or become ...
Yeah,I believe that is what I am talk about. So I should take the rear ones out and cut them? or are they going to be ok to leave? I haven't put the front ones in yet, so I will definitely cut those.
Hey I just got half of my suspension done, yes only half(it's a long drawn out story), and was wondering if it was absolutely necessary to cut the springs.Because I didn't realize that they might need to be cut until today, the day after, when I was reading how-to.I will make sure I cut the front on...
Yes Sir, Metallic it is! Interior to match! I have done, the usually; this piece, the window control piece and that piece on the driver's side around the vent.Envy
To answer all questions; sorry no trade, I love the rarety of the Envy, and got done at the Dealership(pocket piligers).Oh and an update, since getting it back, they effed my alignment and I think something in the steering is going(squeaks when I turn the wheel, but I can live with it)Envy
Well, in the last 4 months Envy has taken a grand of money. Just replaced the driver's side wheel bearing. You what the most rediculous thing about it is, parts were $80, labour $262, the kick to my balls PRICELESS.That feels better, ahhhhh!
I think I may have an issue finding the plugs though, those pics that I was looking at don't really show a hella lot around them and the description of where they are are pretty vague. Especially considering, they look like normal nuts. Any hints North?
I'm up for meeting but maybe somewhere a little closer than Missi. Don't have much to show, working on the suspension, but the stupid bushings are seized! Still would be cool to meet some of you guys. Maybe if we set something up later, so that it would allow us to get more guys/girls to come out.
Hey, guys looked (maybe not hard enough) for the tranny fluid change how-to and couldn't find it. Would any one be so kind as to point me in te right direction? ThanksEnvy
Sublime thanks for the update! Went there got all the way to the checkout, then realized they don't offer shipping to Canada!!!Ah well, I'll find something else. Thanks for the help though.Envy
So I was able to get those caps off, guess I was just afraid of breaking something! But when I went to remove the cross bars, no luck! There seems to be a screw in the way, I guess a bit of a safety feature to stop the cross bar from sliding off if it gets loose. Is this screw important? Has anyone r...
Ok, I searched and checked all the threads that were a available followed their directions but to no avail! I stopped before I broke something.Anyone have a how-to with pictures? Or could direct me there that would be great.Envy
Where did you get a 4gb flash drive for $17???? Anyone that I have seen have been minimum $30-40. I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but I need to pick my "treats"! Sucks trying to save for a house, every little bt helps is what I'm told!
First Pic; Envy03- 2003 Envy Green Base ModelCar will be lowered by this THursday and will post more pics, including interior work I have completed. K still trying to figure out how to attach more than on pic at a time, so bear with me.
Anyone out there with an Envy Vibe??? Don't know how to start a thread, so hopefully someone out there with an Envy s experience enough to start one, cause if you do, you have your first member right here!
I was cleaning the Vibe and was annoyed at the amount of CD's I had and the prehistoric cases that were holding them. they take up space and aren't very space friendly.Does anyone have any unique CD storage ideas, or have a cool/unique way of storing their CD's?I do have a stereo deck that that acce...
If anyone has bought a set of foglights for an '03 from, who did you get them from? I'm searching for a reputable seller.Anyone had good a experience and would refer someone to me? Doesn't necessarily have to be from ebay!Envy
Sorry it has taken so long to get back to this topic, the piece I'm speaking of fills in the trough like area between the front of the roof rack and the windshield.
Ok, since you're on-line hopefully I can get some help from you. I bought a automotive primer at my local hardware store, will that work for the plastic dash pieces or should I get a plastic primer from Home Depot?
K,I've searched the topic and couldn't find the answer I was looking for. I have a local shop ordering me paint, from Sherwin-Williams(I believe), for my interior to match the exterior(Sublime/Envy Green). He asked me whether I wanted single stage or base coat and I told him what I was doing and pla...
Thanks for all the help guys much appreciated. I hope to have it done sooner than later and will hopefully post pics once it's done, just don't hold your breath!
Thanks a lot, will let you know how it turns out! I am painting those specific pieces as close to Envy/Sublime green as possible. Could you clarify what wet sanding is? (As you may assume, i am completely new to this whole painting thing and appreciate all your help!)
Need some experienced insight, I've been told to use fine grit sand paper for interior dash pieces. Is this correct? And on a second note, is clear primer suggested or does it matter if I use a coloured primer?
