Vibe-less in Ohio

After over 12 years and 2 Vibes, I'm sad to say that I am now Vibe-less. My first one was a 2003 Salsa Base Vibe that had only over 183,000 miles when it was totaled in an accident in 2012 (no injuries involved!). Yesterday I sold my 2005 Abyss Base Vibe with only a little over 201,000 miles on it. ...

You have my undying gratitude...I had the exact same problem with the "under the glove box buzz." it was driving me crazy, and I was looking in the wrong area to see if I could find the problem. Pushed the pin in, and the buzz disappeared!!Thank you!!

Re: Parking brake on, start car, lights always come on (NSimkins)

my '05 owners manual states that it should work the same way as the '03's owner manual says. I realize the owners manual has been known to be wrong in the past (i.e. latches on door to cabin air filter)

Parking brake on, start car, lights always come on

2005 Vibe, when I want to idle with the exterior lights off, I put on the brake with the ignition off, start the car, but the lights always come on. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong, or is it the car. According to my owners manual, I'm doing this correctly.I have a 2003 Vibe also, and this has neve...

My baby's fixed. the body shop thought they could "fix" my bumper, but ended up having to replace it. total cost $941.35. the other party's insurance company paid it all, and the paint job (abyss) looks perfect. If you're going to get hit by somebody, you won't need to worry if they have Er...

my 10 DAY old vibe was rear ended today. damage doesn't look like much, but that means it'll only be around $1000 or so!!! more damage was done to the Toyota MR2 Spyder that clipped my bumper though. she was riding so close to me that I couldn't see her low riding car in my rearview mirror until she...

I've ordered a bumper protector, but haven't received it yet.Is the adhesive already on the protector? if so, is it a "peel off" situation and then just press it on? or would I have to apply the adhesive?

maybe I'm misinformed about the nummi thing, but the Vibe and the old GEO/Chevy Prism are two of very few GM's to be recommended by Consumer Reports. Maybe I should have said "toyota" gm's are the only good gm's. as I posted earlier, My 98 Lumina was the ONLY CR recommended Chevy of its ye...

Ummm... if you weren't doing 80 mph, you probably never would have met the median at all. I'm assuming that 80 is over the speed limit in your state. you should have been ticketed, eh?and you put "drive safe" at the bottom of your post! I guess you need to follow your own advice.
