Having read the instructions for installing the rear bumper protector, I see that I need 50/50 mixture of isylproyl alcohol and water and a 3 inch rubber roller.Where do I find a 3 inch roller? None of the hardware stores or paint shops in my area have such a tool. The alcohol is available as a 70 percent mixture, but the label does not state what the other 30 percent is. Is is water?Charles

when i installed mine, i just gave my bumper a good scrubbing with warm soapy water (dish washing detergent), rinsed it, and dried it. then, after i placed it on the bumper, i pressed it down first with my hands, then with my knee and a towel to make sure it was firmly down. the adhesive is pretty strong stuff, so make sure you have it just where you want before putting any more pressure on it than you would with your hands.
i did the same thing as jwalcik, except i heated the bumper and the adheseive with a hair dryer. they recommended that when i installed my door sills and those things are ON good, so it kinda became supestition.
I've ordered a bumper protector, but haven't received it yet.Is the adhesive already on the protector? if so, is it a "peel off" situation and then just press it on? or would I have to apply the adhesive?
