Aside from painting the calipers, does anyone know of a product to make the calipers appear one color? My front calipers have become miscolored from cleaning supplies in a non-uniform pattern and it's starting to look like (removed).

I believe GM finished 3rd in quality this year behind Toyota and Honda, ahead of the other Big 2 and all other foreign makes. They are getting better.

While I'm sorry you guys don't have a feature that you would like to have, I'm curious to know how many people actually use the rear lift-glass. We should make a poll. I think it's easier just to open the entire lift-gate, especially if you use the flimsy rear cargo cover.

For what it's worth, I asked a Vibe owner on another site how much he paid to have the lower body panels painted to match his Abyss Vibe. $1,300. He also mentioned it's been about 3 months since it was done and it's holding up.

I feel your pain as the same thing happened to the guard on the passenger's side front door on my Vibe. I'm fairly certain some donkey hit it in a parking lot. The kicker is Pontiac doesn't have their act together with parts yet and I've been waiting for silver touch-up paint for weeks.

I've heard both. The main difference is the moonroof. If you want it, you get two extra tweeters near the front window closest to the dashboard. They sound decent for a factory system. The head unit doesn't change unless you get the 6 cd player. I think that package is worth it just for the moonroof...

wrench79, this question is for you since you have the 6 disc cd player? Have you ever seen the light between the Volume knob and the << (Back/Rewind) button light up and under what circumstances?

Mine does this as well. I don't think it's anything to worry about. The manual states that the engine was designed to idle at higher RPMs when started, but will return to normal shortly thereafter. I think it starts high to get the ULEV system going.

Probably because the sunlight would wash out the viewing area. When I have my sunroof open, I can barely read the red lights from the dashboard and stereo on my Vibe during daylight hours.

Anyone experiencing a rattle from the rear lift gate when driving over uneven pavement? I thought it was the license plate, so I tightened the two screws at the top of the plate, but the noise still exists. Any suggestions out there?

It looks like you have the bumper protector too. Did you install it yourself and if so was it hard to keep it straight? I'd assume it just has an adhesive material on the underside..

I'm logging my mileage, but I have a Base FWD Vibe with a manual transmission, so I'm not sure this information means anything for you. I'm averaging around 30 mpg for mostly city driving. That basically equals the EPA estimate on the sticker so I'm happy about it.

Anyone know what the purpose of the light in the upper left hand corner of the stereo is for? I never see it light-up. The other light by the slot-load cd player seems to work fine.
