I did that last year, but I inadvertantly put flashing lights in. I haven't doe it yet this year, but I have the lights sitting in the hatch, waiting to go on.....

I supposed you had all go check the C6 section of corvetteforum.com, or go to the carconnection.com - they both have photos of the actual car, which was caught in SF during a commercial shoot. The cat IS out of the bag!

According to the article, they had 3 different Vibe's involved. They may not have had the same equipment. If you look at the "shaving" picture, the map lights associated with the moon roof option are not visible. There is not a picture on that site which shows both together in the same car.

Hehe, similar story here - I pulled into the work parking lot a couple weeks ago, and found out that I was already at work! At least, that's what it looked like, 'cuz my Vibe's twin was in the parking lot. I figured out who it belonged to, and after comparing notes, it turns out she has EXACTLY the ...

Been playing keyboards (mostly piano; now have a Yamaha S80 synth) since I was around 5. My abilities probably peaked when I was in my teens; now I usually only play once or twice a week (I play for our church). I've been SLOWLY teaching myself guitar over the past 2-3 years, but I'm not putting eno...

Like Quikag, I, too, have a Vette as my "summer driver". The point you make about practicality is true enough, but, the general concept of the "sports car" has very little to do with practicality. Having said that, the Vette is one of the more practical sports cars out there. Lik...

Perhaps of more use than the bulletin itself, is the fact that the bulletin contains the name and phone number of the Vibe Brand Quality Manager at Pontiac. That could come in handy down the road.....

Every remote start system I've seen says "auto transmissions only". Too many liability problems, if you inadvertantly leave a manual in gear and disable the "clutch depressed" switch.

Well, I got rid of a 4WD Explorer to get the Vibe, since I think I used the 4WD system maybe twice in two years. The Vibe isn't "great" in the snow, but it's adequate (would probably be more than adequate, if I'd get rid of the Conti's). I managed to stall it once (1st time) coming up to a...

Rim size vs. moonroof

I know that GM doesn't offer the 17" rims with the M&T package, and supposedly that has to do with stresses that could cause the moonroof to crack with the larger rims. With that in mind, does anyone have experience with using aftermarket rims (17" or larger), with the moonroof? I'm ho...

Re: Vibe rebate now $2000! (rogerh00)

I'm in the same boat; bought mine last Thursday. I should've known, as it seemed like the dealer knew and was trying to ease the transition into the higher rebate - they offered an extra $250 dealer cash on everything sold on the 30th and 31st of Oct. (so, I'm only out $250).
