We just traded our 2001 GMC Yukon in for 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette. The Old's will seat seven people and is more versatile for my wife.

2001 Corvette Coupe six-speed, Z51 suspension, interior goodies. Mods: cold air intake, long-tube headers, cat-back exhaust, 4.10 gears. hehe. Ran a 12.29 at 117.3mph in the 1/4 mile about a month ago on street tires.

The idea of 4.10's is kinda cool, though (Blackwing comes next, after hibernation is over).

The idea of 4.10's is kinda cool, though (Blackwing comes next, after hibernation is over).The 4.10 gears are really neat, but they are pretty pricey after you factor in installation, plus the cost of the gears as you basically have to buy another carrier, it's not an easy pinion/gear swap like it is in the F-bodies. The blackwing, vortex, etc. is a great first "go" mod as it really opens the motor up. If you do one "go fast" mod a cold air intake is the way to go. Good luck!!
