Use 5W-30, that's what GM recommended.

My brother in Hong Kong bought my boys one each. I believed he paid US$20-30 for one. Even the brand and box is exactly the same. He bought them early this year.

The price of below $3000 USD has been mentioned in the other forum.

My wife is using the VIBE for city driving only, so I am going to do the 1st oil change when she put on 1000 Km (about 600 mi) on the VIBE. One thing for sure this will not hurt the engine.

This is the only item the wifey wants in her VIBE, not the SC, sigh........

I had the dealer installed them and it cost me $92 and change.
