joatmonwhat symptoms did you notice before your trans went out.I wonder what simularities are there for this problem.I will check on the used trans but due to the fact no Trans are avalible. I may have to have it rebuild.

Dont bother with the LR60 It is only a 2 ft rise plus it is not portable, and It must be bolted to the ground.I love this lift. It is a 4 foot lift. Yes it has a 3 postion safty lock, and the car is very stable when it is in the air. The unit is well built and not cheap like some other brands of midrises out there.Here is another pic.Nick

I droped and oil pan bolt from my pick up in that vent. I never saw it again. If I ever pull the seats and carpet up, I may find it but I wrote it off as a loss.I sure that is not a reassuring responseNick

Don't bother with the dealer, Silicone Lube is silicone Lube. I worked as a door engineer for Gm and the Seal engineers recomended it for any rubber componets.Also be carefull what type of silicone lube you get. I have the same problem and I found out that if the two outside forward facing vents are fully open they are large enough to keep all of the air away from the windshield deforster.
