It's so of all times the night before needed to go to the hospital ER and the batt was dead, original OEM batt 10 years old, it charged up alright but than the emergency had past 6 hours later. This is the first time something as simple as a batt change I passed. Besides Iam very old and weak. For s...

the guy stripped the hold down rod thread and twisted off the clamps front bolt. Before he could closed the hood I see the mangled job and asked can you fix it right. He claimed the fasters were rusted, no so, no sign of rust. The manager and some other yo yo's came out, yea **** happens...Go to the...

Muck build up hatch glass

Occasionally need to open the glass hatch, only and find a lot of caked on road dirt. Has anyone done or knows of a seal at the hatch door top joint were it joints the roof? I think dirt gets sucked in from the top.Otherwise the double door seals are the best I have seen.

Re: How-To: Cleaning MAF (jkm311)

I was more interested in cleaning the connector plug, the sensor looked clean however sprayed it but I couldn't disconnect the plug from the sensor house no matter how hard I tried. The Vibe is 6 years old the plastic hardened or stiffened.Over the years repairing I found many connectors oxidized no...

Very little cabin heat.

I might have read it before, do Vibes have poor heater systems?Considering the punny coolant transfer pipes through the firewall and -20F the windows freeze up on the inside. I haven't driven it for 2 months. My wife's Quest van has abundant heat too much so. We had so far the worse winter on record...

See I am not the only one. Although accepted the fact the Vibe is very stable as is, we should keep em under 85mph for our own and others safety. Today I had a change to lift the car and examened the rear wheel axle and tracking components I was duly impressed. Thus concluded that variable under car...

Agree, some are worse than others...Ok, I took my first peek at the rear suspension ever. The U shaped rear wheel carraige frame has a 3/4' tube or rod I couldn't make out what bolted to the inside Ufacing the rear. I was really looking for a Panhard rod. I should lift the car for a better look. The...

First thing I will do is if the problem duplicates, on the same road during a windless day. Usually there is some crosswind. The Vibe is a total new experience after having driven in Peugeots for some 30 years. I traded my super nice 12 year old very stable Aurora because of my wife's dog... You kno...

Begins to float over 90mph.

My Vibe seems to want to float at higher speeds. By that I mean like it lifts up, it's difficult keeping going straight. My brother says get skinny tires because they are way to wide. I thinks it's the body's poor aerio dynamics and weeny suspension or do I need to make some mods like the front spri...

Re: Passenger side NO seatbelt un-realing (scherry2)

The FIX/B] is, I found a piece 2x2" of mastic covered plastic wound/stuck to the belt w/in the reel. That removed the belt would reel freely. To re-attach the mouldings I found you need to pull the rubber gasket away first and press in last.I think the plastic covered a hole somewhere to keep o...
