Gran Turismo 4

Soon guys you will be able to soop your own virtual Vibe GT around in the next Gran Turismo 4 game for the PS2. Cannot wait! Yes the car is one of the 500 cars featured in the game. I do not know if the Matrix will be in it, I'm sure it probably is though.

Re: 18"s with a 2.5" drop? (meathead333)

I prefered the lower stance rather than just the rims. I have no problem with 17s but would prefer to have the larger 18s if it would allow for it.

18"s with a 2.5" drop?

I'm planning on ordering a set of 18x8 rims for my dropped Vibe GT. I installed the progress springs and achieved a 2.5" drop all around. The space looks like it could take an 18 rim, but I want to find out if the new rims rub the wells or the inner fenders. Any feedback will be much appreciate...

Re: AEM tru-power pulley kits (millster)

I finally installed the pulley. It took a heck of a long time to install due to an incorrect belt that was included. I had to call around and purchase a few belts to find the correct size for the application. I haven't noticed too much of a difference, but the red anodized finish looks trick.

AEM tru-power pulley kits

I just found a set of AEM tru-power pulley kits for the celica GT-S/matrix XRS. They were only $75 compared to the unorthodox racing pulleys for 400. The AEM kits consists of two pulleys and a belt with instructions. They will be at my doorstep tomorrow.

I hate to says this but you can get the same one from ptuning.com for 5% less if you use the link from matrixvibe.net. My total for the strut bar was only 84 bucks. That is another great site for info for tuners.

I believe that the TRD pipe is the best. It is very quiet during normal driving but really screams when you pounce on the gas. After installing, I noticed an increase in the way my car drives! Nothing like a Japanese motor!Abyss Vibe GT: moon & tunes, security, six-disk changer, Injen CAI, TRD m...

After I installed my CAI into the car for the first time, I had a problem with the computer and the idle speed of the car. Right after I turned on the car, the engine light illuminated and the car stalled out a few times on me. I drained the power from the ECU and let the car sit. The light went off...

Re: Injen CAI question (8th Planet Vibe GT)

It sure is worth doing it yourself. I instructions that come with the CAI are unfortuantly in black & white. If you have knowledge about the systems than you will have no trouble. The only trouble I had with it was a hole in the mass airflow senser flange. I had to send it back to Injen, but I r...

You can make your own grill like I did with the Aluminum grill sheets from APC. I cut and fitted the red grill to the bumper, replacing the stock plastic. Looks good on my Abyss GT.

I sure did notice. Right off the bat the engine responded much better and made the car scream. Check Engine light after Injen CAI

Hey all, I have a Vibe GT. I purchased the TRD exhaust and the Injen Cold air intake. After installation, my check engine light came on. I reset the ECU using the power cable, but still it returns.
