Thanks for the comments. My plans for the Vibe are prolly just some alloy wheels.Yes that is an 2003 Elanta GT 5spd, leather. Its a fun car. I must say the 2.0L in my Elantra is alot smoother then the Vibes motor.

The Tucson are great vechicles, poven powertrain, quality is almost on par with the Japanese and best warranty in the business. Fuel economy was the bigest factory for me.Canada get half of the warranty you Yankees get.

The wiring will not be a problem, I just want a factory look.

Do you think the maplights on the rearview mirror can be purchased at Parts Department at the Pontiac Dealership? Or should I go to Toyota?

All I know was that my next car HAS to have AWD or 4WD.I could have gotten a Tucson, but the fuel economy isnt the greatest because its a V6. All I want is 4 cyl. Hyundai doesn't sell a 4 cyl AWD automatic, and that what I wanted. The Vibe/Matrix has it, so I got it.I can't wait for the snow!

My 2005 Vibe AWD has no overhead maplights. Does Pontiac or Toyota have mapslights that were part of an option package? I would like to add some to mine.If anyone can take a pic and post it, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I have one of those AIR IONIZER, inmy other car and it works great. It gives a neutral smell.I won't put one in the Vibe unit the new car smell is gone. I've only had it since August 18th 2005. The same day I signed up for genvibe.com

I was a tech for Hyundai several years back, and we installed remote starters, I have found the AstroStart Units to be superior in Quality compared to the Vipers.There are too much Hype in Viper products. their good ones are their 2 ways. but those can get pretty expensive.

Drive By Wire uses an electrical motor to control throttle opening. There is no physical cable that is hooked up to the throttle body. This is all computer controlled.

What happens if I disconnect the power for the cd player unit? Will I have to go to the dealership and have them unlock it?

I just checked my 2005 Vibe AWD, and it has a cable throttle set up. Is it still possible for the Toyota dealerships install the Matrix cruise control on a cable throttle set up?
