As long as you keep the same overall diameter you will be fine with 16's, 17's or 18's. I have 18's on my AWD and I love them. The stock 16's will go back on for winter though.
My Fleet:
'15 Ford Fusion AWD Titanium 2.0 Tutbo
'14 Lincoln MXZ AWD 2.0 Turbo
'14 Nissan Pathfinder AWD SL
'05 Pontiac Vibe AWD
If your on stock P205/55R16 rims and want to switch to a 17" rim, do not go with the stock 17" Vibe tire size as its to big. To best keep tire size diametre correct, you'll want to run P225/45R17 to match nearly perfect with the P205/55R16.If you put on to big or to small a tire, you risk throwing off your odometre, speedometre, fuel consumption, abs brake systems, and over all vehicle handling.

5-100... the awd should be the same as the base. offset... man I'm scratching my head on this one. I did all the research myself for my Vibe, got the work done and forgot it... 38-42 offset allowed? damn wish I could remember, this is bad.

Quote, originally posted by ragingfish »I don't believe the AWD is rated for 17's though.what's your basis for this statement?you seem to dislike the AWD crowd or something. you once told someone not to get a CAI because the tranny on the AWD couldnt handle it.the only car that they wouldn't offer with 17s (this may have changed now) was those w/moons and tunes, because of the moonroof.
