i decided to not bother with the cigarette adapter, and instead ran an extension to the other cigarette plug located inside the center console. wires are completely hidden throughout.

great, thanks for that link! any suggestions on how to "tap into" the cigarette power? i'd like to power the satellite radio device off the rear of the cigarette adapter, and not actually plug directly into it to avoid wires being shown.

wow, that avic z1 sounds really nice, but i'm sure it will cost a pretty penny when it comes out.hmm, i went on crutchfield's site and saw the AVIC-D1. it looks like it has everything i want - gps navigation, mp3 CDs, and xm/sirius compatible. it says that it does not fit my 2004 vibe. is that true?...

GM12-AUXv2 (2004 Moons & Tunes, factory head unit), 12v constant power?

I received my GM12-AUXv2 auxiliary adapter today, and want to hook it up as soon as possible - I can't stand FM radio and need my satellite radio back. My question is: how/where do I hook up the yellow and black wires? The yellow one is supposed to go to 12v constant power, and the black is supposed...

thanks for the warm welcomes! I just got back from the 800 mile, 16 hour round trip with my vibe - love it! I scored exactly 30MPG on the way home, all highway averaging 75mph, with the AC on the entire way. I couldn't be happier with the mileage performance. I have a question about my stereo system...

New vibe owner, 2004 pumpkin (orange)!

This week I will be driving 700 miles round trip to pick up my new vibe:$13,525 for a 2004 with 12,000 miles! I feel like I got a very good deal. I'm trading in my 2003 pt cruiser gt as partial payment - which got deplorable gas mileage and wanted something that looked similar and got better mileage...
