Re: Vibe versus Prizm (Corny_04963)

I traded in my 1993 Geo Prizm a year and a half ago and my Vibe replaced it. One of the reasons I bought the Vibe, besides its good looks and fuel ecomony is that mechanics were all made by Toyota as was my Prizm. I had the Prizm almost 10 years, put 150K miles on it and outside of frequent oil chan...

Re: Teach a child to ride a bike.... (drunkenvibe)

One key thing to remember when teaching your child to ride a bike is PATIENCE, PATIENCE and more PATIENCE. I found myself getting veryfrustrated teaching my son how to ride, but I never let him see me get mad, it would only make it worse.Keep working with your child and one day it will all click in ...

Re: Vibe an old person's car? (Vibe)

It does not matter what age you are, the Vibe is a car for all ages. I am 49 and I bought it because it was economical, practical and sporty, plus I have 2 young children and it fits our lifestyle. If the Vibe was not available, I probably would have bought another overpriced 4 door econobox. The Vi...

Re: Why did you pick Vibe over Matrix (silverawd26)

Two reasons while I chose the Vibe over the Matrix. The Toyota sales staff at the dealer I went to were very arrogant and basically ignored me when I walked into the dealership. I walked across the street to they Pontiac dealership, and they treated me great. Test drove the Vibe, decided the next day...

Knowing that the Vibe was made jointly with Toyota is one of the main reasons I bought it. Being a previous owner of a 93 GEO Prizm, which by the way was a great car, I figured the Vibe would be excellent also.Of course the Vibe is fun to drive, practical and economical.Base Vibe, (Salsa, Power, Moo...

It is nice to find someone in my area that will hopefully be buying a Vibe shortly. I live in Lake Peekskill and I am about 10 minutes from Yorktown.I assume you are looking at the Envy vibe at Geis Pontiac, which is where I bought mine. It seems some car buyers out there want to compare the VIBE to other cars that are much more expensive. If you like one of those cars and can afford to buy one, go ahead, but please don't compare it to the VIBE, it is a unique car.It is sporty, practical, economical and fun to drive. This car does w...

I chose the Vibe for the following reasons:1. Liked the styling much better.2. Toyota sales people where arrogant. Pontiac salesman was courteous and responsive and they were both part of the same large dealership.3. Got a better price.Base Vibe (Salsa) Moon and Tunes, Power

If you can afford it go for the 17 or 18's. I couldn't afford new rims and tires thats why I went with 16's. If you decide to make the change keep those old steel rims and hubcaps. Tire installer told me the steel wheels are about 100 bucks a piece and the hubcaps are around 75 bucks each. Amazing.N...

I am not at all concerned about the Vibe being first generation. I now own a 93 GEO Prizm built by NUMMI and it is a tremendous car and I have no problems with it.I am picking up my Vibe on Sat, Salsa, Auto, Power Package, Moon & Tunes. I can't wait to ge it.
