It's late so I'll try to be brief. I'm considering a Vibe for my wife (and 2 kids, 3 and 1). We just got back from Europe having driven a Renault Megane Scenic, which we loved. The Vibe is about the only thing that comes close to it over here. I'm bummed that I can't get AWD with a stick, but we'll deal with FWD.OK, my questions:- Does anyone have a link to good pictures of Envy?- I qualify for GMS pricing, but the local dealer has a used 03 (in Envy) GT with the larger wheels, dunlop tires. No idea of miles but the asking price is $15995 as I recall. Worth buying vs a new one?- Has anyone fit car seats in their Vibe, or is this a strictly single crowd? Thanks all.

GMS will help with the new vehicle if the used one is not worthwhile. Also, make sure you are happy with the options and color (especially if you like/dislike Envy)... if not, try to find one exactly to your specifications so you will not regret your purchase.quote:- Has anyone fit car seats in their Vibe, or is this a strictly single crowd?I have seen car seats in Vibe's in my area, it's very versatile! The Vibe appeals to a very wide range of people and their needs, and the room and specs you receive, it's definately a good deal. From Pontiac.com, the Vibe has the "LATCH safety system – lower anchorage and tethers for child safety seats on 2nd-row outboard seats".
It is nice to find someone in my area that will hopefully be buying a Vibe shortly. I live in Lake Peekskill and I am about 10 minutes from Yorktown.I assume you are looking at the Envy vibe at Geis Pontiac, which is where I bought mine. I had a good experience there, the salesman I had Keith Roberts was very good.I have a young child and the car seat fits great, plus the LATCH systemis helpful in attaching your car seat the correct way. This is a great car for the family and you will enjoy driving it.Base Vibe, Salsa, Auto, Moon and Tunes, Power Pkg.
yeah i use the LATCH system for my 4 yr old son's car seat. works great. the vibe will hold 2 carseats with no problems.one kewl thing that my son loves is that the front passenger seat folds down forward, this allows him a great view to see where where are going also he has no problems climbing in and out of my vibe, not to high, not to low.Greg
Ya, i would only seem right to buy new if you have the discounts coming to you. You can never know what the owner before you did with that car either...
I went and bought a black towel at K-Mart (yes, it is a Martha Stewart towel) to put under the car seat. I'd like to find a rear seat cover to guard against spills that are going to happen.
I bought a used vibe. Don't regret it a bit. Had 7,500 miles on it. My signature lists the options I have. Paid 14,200. BUT--if u get the discount-- I know that in order to get the bigger discount, you need to special order the car, that might take a while. I had the same option available to me and I picked the used one. I really needed a new car, and I didn't want to wait....but the numbers worked out better too. If it is a GM certified used car--they extend the manufacturer's warranty 3 years and you get 1.9% financing. Hope that helps.
Heather Proud vibe owner I'M DRIVING IT 'TIL THE WHEELS FALL OFF! IT HAS SURVIVED ABUSE FROM A DUCK......A COYOTE...AN ARMADILLO...A HUGE DEER (NONE OF THEM WERE PETS EITHER ) ...AND A DAUGHTER....WHAT A CAR! 106K AND STILL GOING STRONG!!!!
