I get 27MPG in town, stop and go, no highway travel in this. I try real hard to keep the RPM at 2000 or lower.Interstate: I get 37MPG 68-70 mph w/cruise no mountains.

Re: Wind noise on new 05 (mikey00)

I also have a '05. I hear a soft "whine" that starts around 52mph but either stops or is hidden by road noice around 65mph. If I let off the gas, it goes away. Does your noise stop if you let up on the gas?Other than that, I am pleased with the lower wind noise than my '95 Chevy Blazer. Tom

Re: How's the sound system in your Vibe?

I've got the basic one CD system. I am very pleased with the sound. I don't think I've ever had a stock system that I had to turn the bass down!! I've got an 8 inch Bazooka that I'm planning to install for a bit lower bass with a bit more accuracy........ Tom

Thanks Justin, Just a basic, basic Vibe w/auto trans. Too low pitch to call it a whistle, but kinda like the sound of "rushing "air..... just audible....

Basic CD/Radio equilizer memory??

I have read the book, but I can't seem to figure out how to save or assign different equilizer settings to #1 #2 #3 or #4 equilizer settings on the radio. Maybe I've got the wrong idea here?? I've noticed that when I save a station to a # button that it seems to save the equilization setting in use ...

52 to 62 mph low whine or soft low pitch whistle......(I did search)

That's it....... very low volume. If I slightly let up on gas, it goes away, even when between the two speeds mentioned above. If I slightly accelerate, it goes away. Sounds a little like the way some new tires "sing". If I turn UP the radio, I can't hear it. I'm just curious,,, not a majo...

Is it just me? More Vibes on the road?

Hi, I left Nashville about 8 o'clock this morning and traffic was very light. Loved it. Anyway, before I got to the Alabama line, a total of 5 Vibes passed me. I was only driving around 70. No, there was not a Matrix in the bunch. This was a big surprise to me, especially since it was Sunday morning...
