That's it....... very low volume. If I slightly let up on gas, it goes away, even when between the two speeds mentioned above. If I slightly accelerate, it goes away. Sounds a little like the way some new tires "sing". If I turn UP the radio, I can't hear it. I'm just curious,,, not a major thing. Air intake?? Any solution???
No one LOVES their Vibe as much as I do!!! 2005 Platinum Basic w/auto trans.Did you know that the Vibe has 1 inch MORE rear legroom than the Mercury Marquee and theChevy Trailblazer? !! HONEST!!
I think I know what you are talking about. My GT makes sort of a quiet whirring sound at times. I also have a CAI and exhaust, but I remember it making the sound before the modifications. What model do you have and any modifications?Welcome to the site.
Justin 2003 Vibe GT - Mille Miglia Evo5 18x8 Wheels (now stock)- Magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust (now stock)- Tein S-Tech Springs (now stock)- Injen CAI - Red Painted Calipers - Hella Supertone Horns - Polk Speakers - Bazooka RS8A-HP Sub - Kenwood Headunit - Still love my Vibe, but I've just turned it back into a basic daily driver.
Thanks Justin, Just a basic, basic Vibe w/auto trans. Too low pitch to call it a whistle, but kinda like the sound of "rushing "air..... just audible....
