Re: viboflavin '04 base log

Yeah warm weather would be nice! I used old roofing epdm membrane I got for free. (sure beats 100s for the real stuff) But i had to use contact cement to put it on and it requires the surfaces to be 65 degrees+ a day before and 2 days after. The "peel and seal" works but the directions say...

Re: Sound quality through AUX input

I would have to agree on your choice it seems to have better versatility. But don't let the RMS power fool you. They probably have fairly similar outputs but, companies rarely put true RMS ratings on their products. Shouldn't really be an issue here though. The Kenwood has multiple outputs in case y...

Re: New Stereo

The wiring harness. Unless you're comfortable with cutting off the factory harness and using crimp connectors :| The harness still requires you use crimp connectors or soldering but saves your factory harness. I cannot encourage the "twist and tape" method... it will always come back to bi...

Re: 2009 Monsoon Head Unit Question

Is it physical damage to the port? If so, your best bet is probably to get right behind where it goes into the unit and solder leads to a new input. Re: Sound quality through AUX input

I guess my answer would be... it depends. It seems the limiting factor here would be the stream of Pandora (about 192 kbps) High quality mp3=320 kbps CD = 1,411 kbps Generally the aux inputs (given a high quality cable) can sound good but you have to deal with the fact your phone's audio processor i...
