Radiator hose

Post by viboflavin »

Hello, i have an '04 base,
Anyone have experience with replacing the radiator hose? I've never done it before and searching around the site there is little explanation for exactly what i need.
I have a large battery for my stereo system and I need to move the hose over a bit.
Are the diameters of these hoses standard? OEM replacements seem to be around 21'' so at the least i would need a longer one, but what about the shape? Are there more flexible hoses out there?

If it comes to it i could live without doing it but the battery would take up a lot of room in the hatch

Thanks!

Radiator hoses are not able to be very flexible due to the pressure they experience in normal use.
I think talking to a shop that specialize in radiators would be your best bet.
