Well considering I'm not an old timer on this forum, i'll leave the nostalgia to some of you others. This site was one of the reasons I chose to buy my vibe. I've always looked to the internet for common problems and quirks in a vehicle before making a purchase. Though the vibe is not without it's q...

Re: I hate cars..

Just an update for those that are interested.. I wrapped up the head gasket and lower intake manifold work.. The van still was throwing P0171(lean) codes, but was no longer leaking coolant nor oil. I replaced the Fuel injectors and ensured no vacuum leaks were present, and no more P0171 codes thus f...

Re: So long Vibe...

nice ride!! I sold my 02' F-150 due to the cost of gas, and purchased my 05' base Vibe with the proceeds.

I know it's a big argument about which brand is King, but for me it's Ford or Foreign (Toyota, Honda, Nissan).
I really dig those seats, all sorts of jealous now. LoL

Re: Is the Vibe A Feminine Car?

Feminine in the sense that it's a girly car, or that a real man wouldn't drive one? NO.. feminine in the sense that I refer to her as a her, or call her sexy pet names when I'm washing off grime? SURE!! My car is a she.. That's all there is to it.. I accept that I'm strange and that my car has a fem...

Good luck. You might find the job is not nearly as time-consuming as you think. [/i] These forums keep eating my posts.. ?!?!?! .. I'm 30 Hours into it, spent 4 or so of these de-greasing and cleaning mating surfaces.. All in all not too bad, but definatley time consuming.. Would hate to have to do...

Re: I hate cars..

this site ate my post.. GRRRRRRR thanks for the insight guys.. I did find a very small coolant leak the other day.. think it's coming from my lower intake manifold.. to replace the gasket is a 5 hr job for a real mechanic.. so it'll take me 10 hrs or 2 weeks.. I'll likely get cracking on this come S...

I installed a kick A## sound system, tinted my windows, and cleaned the crap out of it. I am tickled pink with my li...

Glad to hear you're starting off right by fixing/replacing the broken/missing parts. Once you're done with that, do you have any plans for mods? Glad to hear you agree about the color, but it's not grey ;). There are a few different shades of grey on Vibes and then there's silver; Satellite, Platin...

Yet another new member

So I'm new to this forum and look forward to meeting peeps as enthusiastic as I am about my car. I bought my 05 Vibe, base model with moon and tunes package, and 156k miles, last Saturday. I haven't been a Pontiac fan since the GTO but the vibe caught my eye. Sleek, hatchback, and Toyota motor. WHOO...
