every time I start my car after it's sat overnight, the idle settles around 1800RPM. way too high. it will settle down to 1000 after about 5 minutes, and after driving it idles at 600 at a stop light.any idea what's causing this high idle speed?

I'm not a dealer, but I can verify what joatmon says. The TSB is just a recommended fix for problems that are frequently reported. A problem identified in a TSB may or may not be covered under warranty.

Make sure you write down exact mileage and exact fuel amounts when you fill up. And do it a couple times then average it out.
