problem solved

ok call me a dumbass... but i fixed it nonetheless. i also got to the bottom of my zooming problem. it turns out that on the left side of the car, the rear speaker wires are black-yellow and then turn to red-white before going into the doors. whos freaking wonderful idea was that?! i thought that it...

so i fixed the zooming i was hearing in my sub. it turned out that i was getting interference from my power cable. so i decided to tap the left speaker from behind the HU. looking for 6CD changer pinouts

hey im looking for a pin out diagram or something to the connector of the stock 6CD changer. i going to try to tap my speakers behind the HU to see if i can solve my engine noise problem on my basslink. no avail yet so im going to try that one now.i'd apprieciate it if someone had one to share =P

how would i go about wiring that my system.... i remember using those in my semiconductor device classes, but we popped those on to bread boards. could those tiny ceramic discs really handle that much current without going into failure?

i was correct with my wiring i think.... i tapped into the red-white pairs on both sides of the car. think i may be getting interference from the path that i routed the speaker wire?

no luck with the self tapping screw... here's what i did... it looks good but the sub still zooms like before. anymore ideas? the speaker wire that taps the left maybe?

i am pretty sure that i tapped the right wires... red-white, red-white for the rear speakers right? i don't have a remote turn on wire. i have the older basslink and only has auto model. i'll take some pictures and post tonight. maybe you'll be able to spot something wrong.

yes i hear it when the car increases or decreases rpms.... i thought that i used a good ground... i used a bare bolt in that area that has the clips for the child safety seats. could i be getting the interference because i ran the speaker wire for the left speaker under the accelerator pedal?

yah normally it would be cool if you hear your car zooming.... on the outside that is..... but not if its from the system! so i installed my basslink today... i ran the power on the left and then spliced into the rear speakers on the right. i was going to tap the rear speakers behind the deck... but...

i was just checking out bestbuy because they had a 10% off coupon for this holiday weekend.... and plus their Rockford P4004 was only 239.99 to start with compared with crutchfield's 299.99so do you think that the line level converter will sound good? i don't want it to sound like crap
