My first car was a 1986 Chevy Monte Carlo SS with T-tops. Boy did I love that car,but I had to sell it to my brother, because I did not have enough room at my apartment for 3 cars. I also at the time had a 1987 Buick Grand National and a 1986 Chevy Cavalier. I still have the GN and my Vibe GT.

I have moved a 8ft couch and a 36' Toshiba tv with my vibe. The 36' tv fit in the vibe standing up and cleared the roof by literally 1/4 inch . It was like the Vibe was designed to carry a 36' tv and nothing bigger.

I love my Progress sway bar. I can sure notice a difference when taking a corner hard or on a circle off ramp. This is a great mod for all Vibe owners.I've had mine on for 3 months now and have not had any problems...

I change my oil every 4,000 to 5,000 miles with Mobil 1 synethic. I have never been a fan of running my oils over 5,000 miles even through it's probably ok too.

I went and put in Denso Iridium IK20 in my Vibe GT. I can say that I did not noticed any change in mileage, I'm not someone who really watches my mpg, but I did notice that the car seemed to be alittle more torguey than with the stock plugs. How often do you miss a gear????

How often do you guys and girls miss a shift when driving your Vibe. I still have a problem after a year and half with missing 2 gear when pushing the Vibe hard. I have found the 2 gears I have a problem with are 2nd and 5th. Anyone else still miss a gear once and awhile Can wait till the short shif...

We both actually did it the same. I have one that is connected to the other side of the car. What I did was run one wire to the engine block and then from there to the passenger side frame.This is the only daisy connected wire I did,because none of the wires were long enough to reach from passenger ...

I also noticed a difference. I know it sounds strange,but when my car is cold in the morning it is easier to shift from 1st to 2nd without bogging. The only time I have had a problem is with a car full of people and then it feels like it might be slipping alittle. Just very hard to shift smooth with a car full. I have the E.S. Motor Mounts and Brass Bushing and have to say it is a must for any GT owner. The mounts took about an hour and a half and the bushings took 15 minutes. I thought over on Matrixowners I saw someone saying that all you really need is to lower your car, get a STB and a rear sway bar to stiffen up the suspenion and that the front sway bar was not that useful. Is this true or is a front sway bar really that helpful.

Same reason I did not get the TRD short shifter either. I would say that is a (removed) poor design. Looks like someone trying to push a product out the door before doing some good research on it.

I installed a set about 2 months ago and it is the best thing I have put on my Vibe GT so far. It really takes that rubbery feel out of the shifter. These are a must for any GT or XRS owner. I painted both the fronts and the rears calipers.On the GT's its 4 disc brakes all around. I had a black 1997 Z24 Cavailier that had drums in the rear and it looked great with the drums painted red too. With your Vibe being black I think the red calipers make it look MEAN .
