Re: thanks, colors? (silverawd26)

A tack puller looks like a small screwdriver with a "V" cut in the center. It's used to pull out thumb tacks. You can buy them at just about any hardware store

ENGINE COVER REMOVAL HINTS

I find that if you spray a little WD-40 around the plastic pins in the back of the engine shroud (or any plastic pins for that matter), and use a tack puller to lift under them, you can usually remove them without breaking them. A better solution for this situation is to replace the pins with 6mm he...

Another Continental Tire Story

Well here’s a “Bad Continental Tire:” story that turned out good. After two years and 22,500 miles, I finally had enough of these inferior tires. I had them rotated at 6000-mile intervals and kept them at the proper inflation. Finally went to the dealer and stated that something was definitely...

Cargo Weight Capacity

Does any one out there know how much weight the Vibe can handle in the back. I have to haul some flooring material and it adds up to about 650lbs. With the seats folded down and all do you think the Vibe can do this withouy busting a spring or something? I'll only be hauling it about 10 miles.

I was wondering, are the trim rings Ragin Fish is talking about, the chrome rings around the gauges? Are the clips under the rings?

GM Steering Wheel Radio Controls

Does anyone know how to replace the bulbs in the GM steering wheel radio controls? I know the air bag is in the wheel so I'm a little nervous about doing anything major in there. Do the buttons just pull off, or what?

Which brand is better, Draw-Tite or Hidden Hitch? They both seem easy to install. I was mostly interested in which one would be less visible under the car.

While rummaging around the back hatch of my Vibe, I opened the back right compartment & saw a black plug with 4 or 5 wires attached. Does anyone know what it's for? I thought maybe it could be for additional speakers?
