Lowe's sells a 4x3 ribbed charcoal indoor/outdoor floor mat that works great for this, and costs less than $16. I just turned one into a cargo mat for my '09 GT. Made a template using some large sheets of paper, traced it onto the mat, cut it, and had a nice cargo mat. Can post pics if you like.

Yeah, I hope this one lasts longer too. As for mats, I ordered a set of Weathertech mats on Friday...they seemed the best in terms of ability to hold snow and ice in place (we get lots of it here in western NY). I'll definitely need to scare up some carpeted mats for the warm weather though.
