Once again a Vibe owner

Post by themrfreeze »

Hi all. It's been about 2 years since an inconsiderate driver blew through a stop sign and broadsided our '04 Vibe, ending our ownership of the car. Missed the great utility of the car so much that I bought an '09 Vibe GT today. Glad to be back. Can anybody suggest a good source for floor mats (both carpeted and heavy duty rubber) for this car? It currently has none, and needs some desperately. Thanks!

For floormats, you can't beat the WeatherTek digital cut floormats in my opinion... otherwise you can get the official Pontiac heavy duty floormats like many other GT owners here.

I am cheap - got a full set of heavy duty floor mats at Sam's Club for $20. Mine are grey - I think they also come in black. They are made so you can trim them down to fit better.

Huskyliner . Its not cheap but completely covers the carpet . It would take a lot of water to overflow on the carpet

Welcome back! You will love the '09 GT, I know I do . I personally have (and love) the GM premium all weather floor mats, but I believe they have been discontinued so they may be hard to come by nowadays.

Yeah, I hope this one lasts longer too. As for mats, I ordered a set of Weathertech mats on Friday...they seemed the best in terms of ability to hold snow and ice in place (we get lots of it here in western NY). I'll definitely need to scare up some carpeted mats for the warm weather though.

I have a set of factory carpeted mats if you're interested. I use my rubber mats year round.
