Hi.

I need to recharge my a/c in my '07 Vibe.

I'm not sure if I have a leak in the a/c or if it's low strictly due to age of the car.

Where the hell is the low intake port on the a/c system?

Use super glue and put in some baking soda.

I thought it was weird when I first heard of it, but the baking soda really does make the super/crazy glue harder.

Before I knew about the baking soda, I had to glue mine every 3-4 years

Hello,

The hood release cable on my 2007 Vibe snapped a couple of years ago.

I was finally able to find a new cable. Right now I've been popping the hood with a peice of coat hanger I had jury-rigged to the release.

To install the new cable do I need to hoist up the car?

If you got a core Vibe with the 1.8l and 4 speed, the Matrix equivalent trim is the STD auto. I think those were more common than the XR trims (auto and manual), so hopefully that's not discontinued. For such an old (and well used) car, would Iridium or Platnium spark plugs be better?

The originals were Iridium but changed them with Platnium before.

I found a few online for under $150; my mechanic said to get a direct fit instead of a universal.
