John, Thanks for the reply. The Vibe would be an interim tow vehicle for a year of so when my company car PT cruiser gets replaced with a company Ford Escape which will then become the primary tow vehicle(200 HP V6). All towing will be local(less than 10 miles each way) so i plan on babying it.

Tow a boat??

Anyone ever Tow a small boat? I see the owners manual states 1500 lb towing rating. The Hidden hitch says its good for 2000 lbs. I might buy a boat that weights about 1900 lbs boat/trailer. Any thoughts?

Rear stock speaker sound

I have the 200 Watt amp with 6 disc in-dash changer. I experimented with the stock speakers today by adjusting the fade control to direct all sound to rear speakers and then only to the front speakers.......the rear ones sound like crap! Has anyone else noticed this?

I changed to full synthetic(Havoline) at 1800 miles. Cant say I notice any difference except piece of mind knowing the car has some slippery stuff in there.

I found the most shocking part of that demonstration was the bullet proof nature of the toyota engine. Went with the AC Delco filter with Havoline Full synthetic at the 2000 mile mark.Interesting observation about Vibe oil filters. I noticed that AC Delco uses the same filter for both the Base and GT Wereas Purolator uses a different filter for each.
