Re: Replaced the Vibe (rAERRK)

Mazda does not have much for the 6 right now. But, the Mazdaspeed 6 version is coming out this year, so I am guessing that Mazda will offer some mazdaspeed accessories.

Re: Replaced the Vibe (silverawd26)

Mine is a 4 cylinder, so I am hoping that engine recall is not effecting me.As for future mods, I would like to add XM or Sirius Radio, 2 10 in. JL Audio subs, tint the windows, and depending on what Mazdaspeed accessories are available when the production version Mazdaspeed 6 comes in mid/late 2005...

Re: (rAERRK)

They both look really similar (the sedan and 5-door). The difference is that the whole rear (glass and all) lift up on my car similar to a coupe (like a Scion tC or Acura RSX). My car has a shorter rear deck lid than the sedan. I wanted the 5-door because it gave me more utility that I was used to h...

Replaced the Vibe

I don't post here often, but I figured I would share this info. In November, as some of you may recall, I was t-boned in my Vibe and it was almost totaled.Well, I took a cash payout from my insurance and sold the vibe to a salvage yard. I had been looking for a car for about a month, and then I foun...

Re: The Vibe is gone, Now what??? (GonzagaVIBE_03)

My price range is about $18000 to $22000, depending on what happens with insurance. I will take a look at the Subaru Legacy (The sedan one). It looks pretty good. I am also looking at a used 3 series or used C class.I like the explorer because of it's size and it's looks. However, I have never been ...

The Vibe is gone, Now what???

Well, as some of you may have read in an earlier post, my vibe was in a pretty bad accident and the insurance agent told me today it was mostly likely going to be classified as totaled. So, I am trying to decide what I want to replace the Vibe with. I don't think I want another Vibe. Don't get me wro...

Re: BAD Accident in the Vibe

I don't know yet if my insurance is going to total the car or try to fix it. I really hope that they total it because I would hate to have a car that has had significant damage (Kills resale thanks to Carfax).I have really good insurance and complete coverage. The accident, by law, was my fault. The ...

BAD Accident in the Vibe (pictures)

I have not posted here for a long time, but I thought I would show you guys how my vibe held up when it was t boned by a GMC Jimmy at 30 mph. Needless to say, there was significant damage, but luckily no one was seriously injured. My side airbags did not deploy which was a surprise.Anyway, here are ...

First Ticket Ever

Well, about a week ago I posted on someone here on genvibe getting a ticket and I was kinda sarcastic about it. Well, God must have been watching me because on my way back to college (Gonzaga) from Seattle I got a speediing ticket. I was only going about 76 - 77 and the speed limit was 70. I thought...

Re: Cadillac SRX (threekrows)

I must say that at first, I thought that this was going to be a great looking vehicle and my family was considering purchasing one once them came out. However, we had only seen the prototype/concept pics. We went to our local dealer once they got one in and when we drove up it was sitting out front....

Tried 24 hour Test Drive???

My family is considering buying another GM vehicle and we were thinking about doing the 24 hour test drive. However, it seems like you almost have to commit to buy to get the 24 hr Test Drive. I have not done it yet and I was wondering if anyone has done it? Is it a hassle with the dealer/High press...

Re: If you had it all to do over again...would you still buy it? (Kari)

Nope! I like my Vibe, but I wished I had waited a little bit because there are some other cars that I would have seriously considered: Acura RSX, TSX, Honda Accord Coupe, Pontiac Grand Prix, GTO, Chevy Trailblazer, Toyota Solara, and a few others. I kinda got caught up in the Vibe and bought it with...

Vibe Falling Apart

I have owned my vibe for about a year and a half now and I am starting to have some problems with the quality of the car. I have had to have my radio replace (would not play any cds), I had to have my cigarette lighter replace because it had stopped working (And the new one that they put in just sto...

FORD THUNDERBIRD: for better or for worse

As an owner of a 2002 Ford Thunderbird I find the car to be a classic cruiser and greatly enjoy the open top driving. However, recently it has been criticized by both car magazines and Ford itself and now it is doomed to it's death in 2005. What is you opinion?

Vibe Horror Story

Well, about 6 months ago I received 2 10 inch sub's to put in my Vibe as a Birthday present. I decided to get them installed by Car Toys because the price was reasonable and it wasn't going to take very long and they seemed reliable. Well, about 2 weeks after I had my sub's installed my check engine...

Re: How big can I go. (robdog)

I myself have an AWD Black Vibe that I have had for about 14 months now and for the past 11 months I have had 18 in' Quantom Tech wheels on my car and I have had no problems at all. So, go as big as you want as long as wheel diameter is close to the original. By the way, 18's definitely enhance the ...
