I know that front-wheel drive cars will naturally pull in one direction when under heavy acceleration but my GT torque steers whenever my foot is moving. If i am under any acceleration the car pulls right, if i am coasting (foot off the accelerator) the car pulls left. Anyone else get this? I am talking about a pull hard enough to change lanes.

I've noticed mine pulls strongly to the right anytime I have rapid DEceleration...If I'm going 70, and I hit the brakes to merge into an offramp in 500-1000 feet, I'll feel like I'm about to run off the road. It's scary sometimes.

Mine's actually very good about staying put. There's a bit but less than I've had with other front drivers with less power. If I took my hands off the wheel I'm sure it would drift but it's never trying to pull the wheel out of my hands and I've had cars that did. Ragingfish. If your brakes are causing it, it's not torque steer. That doesn't seem right. Get em checked if it happens when out of gear or the clutch in. If your front end is off alignment buy being open on the toe adjustment, it could add to the Torque Steer problem.

check your tires....when my tires wore out (past the illegal tread depth) the torque steer became unbelievable. Might be time to rotate tires or replace them....just a suggestion.

Nope, not the tires. They are still good. Thankfully even under hard braking i can take my hand off the wheel (in theory of course) and the car stays put.As an example i have to adjust the steering wheel when i shift because the little jump coming into the next gear makes the car want to go right.

Never been able to get rid of the problem. Came to accept it as normal.

silverawd26, That makes sense but isn't torque steer. A toe out makes it want to follow grooves even more.
