This gadget can work, but the question is does it work on a Vibe. The idea is to fool a sensor (air intake temp, coolant temp) to feed the ECU a value that will make it advance timing. If it does work, I'd be suprised if it's anymore than 3-5 horse and even more suprised if the gains are permenant. The ECU makes a determination that the value it's getting is bogus and throws the CEL. You then reset the ECU and go at it again.Oh yeah, if you want to do this it may be no more than $2.00 worth of parts at Radio Shack
