Windshield Washer Nozzle

Post by BahamaTodd »

The passenger side windshield washer stopped squirting fluid so I took it in to the dealer under warranty. When I got it back, the spray pattern is completely different - I wouldn't even call it a spray anymore. Should there be a smaller nozzle in the outlet or has the design changed?

While it was there they found that the battery was leaking some acid and ate through the negative cable. They ended up replacing the battery and changing the entire engine harness under warranty which took them three days since they didn't have it in stock. I had a loaner for that time so I think they rushed this and didn't fix the washer as they should have.

That is not right if it is just dumping the water at the windshield base. The nozzle should send a spray across the windsheld, like you sprayed it with a Windex bottle several times. I'll go look at mine in the parking lot in a bit and see.

There should be a nozzle there. I'm taking it back in the morning.
