2009 Vibe 1.8

Post by cptnsolo77 »

Every 1.8 I have seen comes with 16" wheels. Did Pontiac offer 17" or 18" as an option on with 1.8???

Yes, you could buy 17's or 18's as a dealer installed option! But it's cheaper to go to a tire shop to get it done...

Ahhhh I see. Just entertaining thoughts of my next car. The 09 Vibe is definitely an option, but not the 2.4. Looks like the gas mileage isnt so great. If Im going to take a dip in MPG it will be on a larger car. Thx.

My dealer would not install anything bigger than the 16 in wheels on the 1.8...

You don't want the 18's. I have a GT and it came with the 18's. Now I need new tires, and can't find a set for under 800 bucks. So unless you can afford the outrageous prices for the performance tires then I wouldn't get them.

You're looking in the wrong places.Tirerack has the OEM tire for $112 each and an $80 rebate on top of that when you buy 4. Shipping is around $50.http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...dex=0
