PO171 "System Running Too Lean" - 2005 Vibe 1.8L 1ZZFE

I just had my check engine light come on and autozone showed a PO171 code. I already saw these posts and am going to clean the MAF Sensor and I put in a tank of Tektron injector cleaner. How is your car acting? Is it running ok? I had this code when my MAF died. It could still be many different things.Start by cleaning the MAF and making sure all the vacuum hoses are connected.

I do have a CAI. I checked that it was all sealed up to the throttle body. I cleaned the MAF and am on my second tank of gas with TECTRON fuel injector cleaner. I have my buddy wipe my codes and it hasn't turned back on. I did notice this earlier:I will post a pic when I find it.

Hello again... So on my trip the code came back. I wipe the code and it doesn't come back for another few months. I checked for vacuum leaks, CAI joints, and even cleaned the fuel injectors. The only other thing I can think of is the intake manifold gasket but I have no idea how to check it. Any ideas? Thanks

I've heard on here somewhere that a CAI can cause a CEL.

So on my way back from the meet my engine light lit up again. I thought it was my voltage stabilizer but Im not sure at this point. I am going to see what code it threw. If it's the same I am going to check the intake manifold gasket for leaks.
