Besides a few specks of missing paint that I was fully expecting after doing my research over the past year or so, it's an amazing car so far. It lacks power windows, power locks, and any sort of remote entry system/alarm. I'm interested in getting an alarm system for it, and was curious about the wiring that is already in place. My question is this: If I get an alarm that also has lock/unlock buttons on the remote, is the wiring in place to convert the locks to power locks fairly easily, even if they're only able to be electronically controlled by the remote? If the answer to that is yes, can anyone recommend a fairly low priced system that'd accomplish both the power locks and alarm purposes? Thanks in advance The short answer is NO the wiring is not present. The is a thread here somplace where someone did make the conversion themselves but it was a lot of work and required adonor car that had the wiring.BTW: Welcome to the Vibedom!!
