Link is to a web page, so you can't load in a web page via the IMG tagsThe image is 2240 x 1680, pretty big loading into a web browser, but the file size of the image I downloaded from http://community.webshots.com/...PyeWU was only about 424 KB, so it should have been uploadable.Anyway, here is an 800x600 version of the poor vibe, for the big version follow the link http://community.webshots.com/...PyeWUouch!

That is a sad sight. It is the same color as mine, so it is scary too. I never want to see my car like that.On a lighter note, did you have venison for dinner?

cruise was on 50mph until the deer ( and I ) saw each other. there's about 75 feet of tire tracks on the road. i figure maybe 40 mph at the time of impact. windshield only has a couple blood stains.

wow, that's a big chunk of change, glad you have insurance. Hope your rates don't go up as a result, don't think they should for a deer, and it would be worth it rather than to have to spend that much out of pocket to get the car fixed. A good shop should be able to fix it good as new.How long will it take to get it fixed, and what are you driving in the meantime?

Can you eat road kill deer ? I thought if the spleen has ruptured that the meat was no good. Then again, last year a guy in my area had a pickup with about 5 bambi's off the side of the road.

It depends on how long the deer has been dead. Once it starts to bloat it is not good. At least I wouldn't eat a bloated deer.
