Front Turn Signal Change?

Ok, i have decided to put white turn signals in the front and i can't figure out how to get the harness out to swap the bulb.Oh, and before it is brought up, yes they are legal in Texas. The white bulb shines through an amber lens for the side marker.

If it looks amber even if you have a white light, then why do you want to change it?EDIT: Oh, I see. The amber lens is on the side, but it has a clear opening on the front. There are instructions for changing the bulb in the owners manual, but they suck. I'll see if I can figure out how to change them tonight.

You ARE aware the lens on this car is not colored, right? It would flash the color of the bulb...

I think it's a pretty painful job, I'll know more tomorrow when I attempt it myself.Today rather..as it's now past midnight...whoops..

Yeah ragingfish i know it would, that's the idea. I want a white indicator and turn signal in the front. Luckly for me the side indicator on the vibe shines through an amber lens so it would still be legal in Texas. I just can't figure out an easy way to disconnect the bulb housing from the back of the headlamp.It is nice to know people care enough to tell me these things though. Thanks guys.

OK, I changed my front turn signals to silver stars today. They were really easy to swap, but getting at them is a #$!@#$!@. Especially the driver's side!You have to kind of wrap your arm around a bracket and inbeween the battery (might be easier if you remove the battery, but I'm too lazy). but if you can grab the harness, you just turn it counter clockwise and it should come loose.

Oh! ok. I thought you had to push the tab on the top of the harness to unlock it. Thanx Ebslopp.
