So, what's your favorite cookie recipe?and is there anything that can be used to replace sugar in cookie recipes?

Awesome man, thanks for the recipe...Have you ever tried it with a sugar substitiute (sweet and low, splenda, etc.)?If so, did they still turn out have decent?
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

Mmmm cookies. I should do some "holiday" baking tomorrow. My cookies always go over well with my coworkers.

If you want to avoid sugar and also don't like using 'artificial' sweeteners, you can use a product called 'STEVIA'. It is a natural sweetener and can be used as you would sugar. It is quite expensive, but you only need to use a very small amount. Available at most fine health food stores, or even Loblaws carries it if they have a health food section.

We do quite a bit of diabetic cooking in this house, and IMHO, Splenda is the best out there. It's awesome to cook with, and I haven't found anything yet where you can tell the difference between Splenda and sugar.

I didn't think anyone here was complaining about sugar... just asking questions. There must be another reason it was removed... copyright issues?? I dunno.

I wasn't complaining...I don't think anyone else was either. I was just making a suggestion from personal experience. The recipe doesn't have to be changed, just use Splenda instead of sugar.
