Why does my 2005 Pontiac Vibe Base sound like an 18-wheeler?

It happened recently, my Vibe started making a squealing noise when accelerating. Changed out the serpentine belt thinking that was the issue but the noise still persists, I'll see if I can send a video

Thanks for the audio since it helps but I have a couple of other questions:

How many miles are on the vehicle?
Did changing the belt have any impact on the sound (better, worse, same)?
Did you have heat, A/C, fan, recirculate etc on when taking the audio?
Does the sound get better after driving and letting the engine warm up?
Does the car run normally or do you notice any issues with voltage reading, indicator lights, etc?

-The original motor had 195k miles on it, I spent $4,300 for a junkyard motor to be installed on it
-changing the serpentine belt did make the vehicle run smoother but the sound stayed the same, the old belt had cracks & needed changin'
-I had the AC off when taking this video, Ill post another video from the engine bay perspective
-The sound did dissipate when above 3k RPM at 50 MPH, but you could still faintly hear it
-Car runs normal, no codes or check engine light on. Although I did have an issue with idling of the Vibe being under 1k RPM, not sure if that is an issue

Thanks for the quick replies and the additional video clip. I was leaning toward a pulley or alternator bearing but when you rev the engine, you can see the dipstick vibrate and shake. That is interesting. I will have to do some research to steer you in the right direction. In the mean time, I'm hoping another member might have some expirience/input and will reply.

For something like that, I might try a quick test by removing the serpentine belt. If the sound goes away, then there's a good chance that its coming from something driven by the belt, which would be better than having it come from some engine internal. Of course, you only want to do that quickly, with the engine cold, since coolant won't circulate. And also, only reasonable if the sound is there when the engine is cold.

Vrypor- I haven't had a chance to investigate this more with work but wondering if the shop found anything or if joatmon's suggestion helped find the issue? If not, I should have time tonight to dig into further.

Haven't been able to get back until now. I was doing some more research and still agree with joatmon about checking the pullies. If one is bad enough, it could cause the vibration you see in the video (and feel when accelerating). Also, as a quick check, is your engine oil and trans fluid at the correct level? Or, did the shop get back to you and find anything?

Sorry, didn't give an update, apparently it was my transmission flex plate that was causing the noise

guess its good that they found the issue, but I was hoping for something easier to fix, like a bad alternator or belt tensioner. Hope its back on the road soon.
