What is the skidpad difference with 16's and 17's
Does anyone know the difference in skidpad #'s when someone has stock 16's and someone else with stock 17's. .........just curious

When the mags tested these, the stock 17s did much better but it wouldn't be the rim diameter. It's more a function of the tire types and size with their respective wheel widths. Stickier and wider is what gets it done. A 225/50/16 should do as well or better than a 215/50/17 of the same type if both are on 7" wide rims. The base and GT should be similar in skid pad #s with the same tire but the GT will slolam better with its firmer shocks. No hard #s here but I hope it helps.
