GF's 03 GT has a worn inner cv joint on the passenger side (boot cracked, lube got out, moisture got in...you know the drill).
i've seen conflicting information regarding whether the carrier bearing is actually pressed onto the shaft and into the support and the manuals are vague. to me, it appears that the bearing is pressed onto the shaft and then held into support via the two bolts and snaprings...and probably rust.
this would be very helpful info to have before i start ripping the car apart.
