I feel like my Base Vibe/auto has good suspension and brakes right from the factory. But adding the SC will put it more into the GT's performance territory. Can anyone tell me what suspension and brake differences there are between a stock GT and a stock Base Vibe?Looking at the big tail pipe, and since Pontiac has been teasing about the SC since day one of the Vibe, I suspect some of the performance engineeringing upgrades are already in place in anticipation of the supercharger. I"d just like to know for sure.Anyone? KSNeptune
suspension is the same.the disc brake thing has been beaten to death. you shouldnt need anything. i believe faultline still has stock brakes and his turbo has more power. if you WANT new brakes check out ssbc brakes these are the ones i want and are whats stopping 300hp+ matrixes.
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!

Was just saying outside the engine and the tranny, the brakes were the only difference AFAIK between a GT and a base model...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

You wont need a thing. Your car handles plenty good for the extra power. The GT does have firmer shock damping but thats it for differences. For upgrades; The progress rear sway bar for about $100 is on of the most cost effective and funtional upgrades available.
Vibe GT, TRD springs, Progress bar, STB, Unichip, Borbet E 16x7.5, 225/50 Bridgestone RE750, beefed up grounds and battery bypass capacitors(had em laying around)
theres a rundown in the forced induction forum check there.
