Ebays 03-06 matrix xr compatible to vibe 08?

Was looking through ebay and saw a CAI for matrix xr 03-06/corolla 03-04. Will the fit a Vibe 2008?

Not a 100% sure about the base matrix/corolla/vibe. But I know the 03-04 XRS won't work on the 05+ XRS cause of the air injection tubes

I'm assuming you have a 1zz engine. It will work but you may need to add a breather filter to hose that comes out of the top front of the engine and fits into the stock air tube before the TB. $10 part at autozone. Look for a pic of my engine it's shows what I'm talking about.

Yes i have the 1zz, I've read that you can add another piece of hoses to make it fit over the air tube.

Post a link for the SRI. Also be prepared to replace the filter. As far as a pic do some searches on Genvibe. Also PLEASE remove the negative battery cable first and makeit the last thing you put back on. Could save you $100 and a lot of headaches.

I added a like to my last post.

You realize you won't gain much but some noise. A K&N drop in will gain the same results. I have an ebay SRI but have an AEM Dry Flo with it.

The 04's had air injection also, 03's are the only XRS without the stupid air injection pump.

The 03-08 1ZZ powered vibe/matrix shouldn't be any different as far as the intake. Nothing major changed other than drive by wire in 05+ models and that has nothing to do with the intake.
