Details: 2008 Pontiac Vibe(standard) with 47,500 miles. 5 speed trans and convenience package. Not too fancy, just enough bells and whistles for me.
I will have a receiver hitch on order shortly and will probably replace the stock radio pretty soon too.
First question as I don't see that this was covered anywhere... would the odometer rack up miles if the car is flat-towed behind a motorhome with the ignition not turned on?
I'm pretty sure that's what the prior owners used the car for.
Anyway, nice to find this site and I will go back to reading and searching for more info here.

Not sure on the odometer issue BUT I'm thinking it would still register. Now with the key turned to the "acc" position to where you merely unlock the wheel & allow the gear selector to be shifted ... that might be OK. Never done this so I'm not sure. Post pics of your Vibe when you get a chance and update your profile showing your location. We like to know here @ GenVibe if you just happen to be one of our neighbors. Again Welcome
