2010 base intermittent wiper relay noise - where are they?

Post by tonycheung »

Hi,

There is a noticeable "click" sound when intermittent wiper is engaged and I found it is pretty annoying. I am quite sensitive to noise.

I guess it is from the relay. Is there any schematic or picture showing where the relay box is, and which relay it is?

I plan to place some kind of foam over the relay or the whole box to isolate the noise...

Thank you,
Tony

Tony. I don't know if any of the attached pics will help you or not BUT after studying and reading all about the wiper system, I'm a bit baffled myself. Somewhere there are relays to control it BUT now I'm not even sure exactly where they are located.

finally the complete wiring schematic of the front wipers (according to Helm ) seems there are some relays missing ???

It can only help. Not sure now that I confused myself :? Good luck!
